Cloud Cost Intelligence: Frequently asked questions

|View as Markdown (English)

Why does Cloud Cost Intelligence show "Cost data unavailable for the last 48 hours"

Cloud Cost Intelligence applies a 48-hour data buffer to the selected time range. When you open a CCI dashboard, CCI automatically adjusts your selected time range to end 48 hours ago and displays this notification:

Cost data unavailable for the last 48 hours. We adjusted your selected time range to end 48 hours ago.

This is expected platform behavior and applies uniformly to all supported cloud providers—AWS, Azure, and GCP. CCI enforces this buffer at the platform level, regardless of how quickly your cloud provider's cost export completes. Even if your provider's export finishes sooner, CCI still limits the visible time range to end 48 hours ago.

How do I access capabilities currently in preview

  2. In the bottom-left corner, select your User Profile icon.
  3. Go to Administration > Previews and Trials.
  4. Locate the feature you want to enable:
    • FinOps Agent Preview: Toggle this on to enable natural language cost querying and cloud spend analysis.
    • CCI Alerts Preview: Toggle this on to create and manage alerts directly within the CCI ecosystem.
  5. Refresh your browser to see the new capabilities reflected in the Ask AI interface.
